Dragon eggs tutorialby ~Ginger-I

A few people have asked me how I made my Dragon eggs from Game of Thrones, so I decided to share my progress with you. I was supposed to do just a brief tutorial but it ended up quite long xD
This is my first tutorial ever so it's not perfect, still I hope it'll be helpful :3
Aaand I want to apologize for any spelling or grammar mistakes you might find!

The Dragon eggs are based on HBO's Game of Thrones which is, of course, based on A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin ; )

NOTE!! This is how I did Daenerys's Dragon eggs. I'm not saying this is the best way. I had limited materials and I found this the most effective way to get them to look the way I wanted.

EDIT: The height of a finished egg is about 17 cm.

that I can open it. It doesn't have to
fit and open perfect though

Well, if you want it to be opened at the top, I would suggest you to try and find an already hollow egg that can be split in half (mine were like that), then just tape the two halves together and cut the egg open from the top the way you want. After that, just cover it with anything you want.
I'm really bad at explaining what I mean, I'm sorry ;__;
